What I Wore #1: Autumn Inspired

I’ve been blog-stalking a bunch of stylish and craftsy ladies, and several of them do a What I Wore type post occasionally. These posts are always fun to look through, because it gives insight into a person’s style and personality, and also I just like seeing the creative combinations people come up with. SO! I’m going to start a What I Wore series, as well (imitation is the highest form of flattery, yes?). And this here is the first one.

It’s officially autumn now, even though we are still having 100-degree days here in Austin. Twitter and crafty blogs abound with fall-themed fashion and crafts and foods, and I wanted to join in even if the Texas weather gods didn’t. I LOVE the colors coming out this fall, so it wasn’t hard to find items in my closet to put together an autumn-inspired look. I didn’t have anything in particular going on today, just working from home and out running errands, and this outfit was simple and comfortable enough to just hang out in while still being fun. Our puppy, Sienna, declared that she fit nicely with the color scheme (true) and would not be left out of the pictures. 🙂
