I added some new listings to the shop yesterday, including some new long sleeved shirts. You can check out the full selection of cold weather appropriate offerings here. I’m also working on the next design for the shop over this weekend, and should be debuting that after we get home from our Thanksgiving roadtrip. How’s your weekend going?
Today I’d like to introduce you to Vanessa, one of my awesome sponsors for this month, all the way from Down Under! She’s a thrifty chica with a unique sense of style. Come get to know her! Vanessa Bowen Go say hi: Blog | Shop | Facebook | Twitter I’m a fashion and lifestyle blogger who lives in rural Australia. Don’t be fooled by the bright sunshine. It was 50 degrees out when I took these this morning. Hence the sweater, scarf, and me hamming it up like I’m freezing (see below). 🙂 It looks like Austin has finally clued in to the fact that it is fall/winter. Which means all of my sweaters and thermals and such are going to be joining the wardrobe rotation. I am fully on the scarf-as-accessory bandwagon now. They are fun, and even a thin scarf like this helps keep my neck warm. My neck (particularly the back) is one of those places […]
Awesome video of the week! The gay men of College Humor have an ultimatum for those opposing gay marriage: Let them get hitched to each other, or they’ll start marrying your girlfriends. George RR Martin weighs in. Good points from the lovely Vanessa: The real reason why your blog isn’t getting any comments. 15 Text Messages You Wish You’d Get Violence against women: who can make the biggest difference? […]

1. I really want to meet more local bloggers (in person!), but there doesn’t seem to really be a local blogger meetup, at least not of the lifestyle/non-professional blog kind. Which means I should probably just organize one myself if I want it to happen. But aside from that being daunting (where? when? doing what?), the thing that keeps me from really jumping into it is that I’m afraid no one would actually show up. Like, I’d invite Austin area bloggers I follow & like, but then they’d all RSVP no or something. Or there’d be a bunch of […]
