Just a reminder for you local folk: this weekend, aside from Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, also features Shop Local Sunday. And you can do just that at the ATX Artisans Holiday Market. ATX Artisans is an Etsy team of **all local** artists and makers dedicated to creating handmade, quality goods. This is our 2nd annual holiday market and one of the very few all-volunteer, artist-run markets in Austin. We’ve got roughly 50 different vendors who make all sorts of different things. This year our show is also supporting the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We’ll have a silent auction whose benefits all go to LLS, and we also have a donation page set up here. Your support of either one will help fund therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
The show is this coming Sunday, November 30th from 10am to 5pm at the Holiday Inn Midtown (6000 Middle Fiskville Rd). I hope you can stop by and support local artists – or at least say hi! I’ll in booth 005 right in the foyer when you come in. And if you miss the market, all vendors can be found on Etsy for online shopping all year round.
