How’s that for a reading line-up?
We hosted my in-laws this past weekend, as it was Samsung Family Day- a rare opportunity for outsiders to get a tour of the secret secret Austin facilities and maybe finally understand what their loved one does for a living. I had attended the first one a few years ago, but Ian’s mom had never been. So we went. It was good fun, as was all of the food-making (this), eating out and movie-watching we did with them on their short visit.
One of our ventures was out to Lick Honest Ice Creams for National Ice Cream Day. I tried the Dewberry Corn Cobbler flavor (interesting but strange), the Vegan Vanilla Berry (not as good as hoped), and the Caramel Salt Like (AMAZING! Get this). I was also tempted to try the Loquat Margarita, but one can only eat so much ice cream during one outing.
