This Christmas, we went to visit the boy’s family in Arizona, and got to do a little side trip to see the Grand Canyon at the same time. It was my first time seeing it, and the experience did not disappoint! It was just Ian and me for the side trip. The canyon is about a 4 hour drive from where his parents live. The first afternoon we got there was around 50 degrees, nice and sunny but super windy…. Read the rest ⇒
Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah. Season’s Greetings. Happy Kwanzaa. Joyous Holiday Season. However or whichever holiday you’re celebrating, or even if you’re not celebrating at all, best wishes for you and your loved ones.

The first is about Christmas colors, red and green. The second is a neutral, natural take on Christmas. Take a look: Crimson & Clover Antiqued Necklace – Reddish Brown Focal Bead – Spotted Porcelain Bead – Curved Puff Oval Bead – Earthy Brown – Scarlet Red… Read the rest ⇒

1. So the evening of Christmas Day saw us take a trip to the emergency room because Ian was having severe pain in his ear and jaw – meds weren’t helping and it was getting steadily worse. This is the guy who doesn’t really like to go the doctor, so the fact that he opted for the ER when the urgent care center was closed told me it was pretty bad. But they couldn’t figure out what it was…. Read the rest ⇒
