With Halloween at the end of the month, October seemed like the perfect time to dip into the darker side of Etsy. For this month’s round-up, I looked for beautiful pieces with just a little edge of creepiness, weirdness or darkness. And I’m kind of loving how this round-up turned out.
I’m pretty much lusting after that journal. And I sort of love the ribcage ring, even though I don’t normally go in for the macabre. Also, bonus points to fellow YA readers who got the title reference. 😉

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs This was a refreshingly different read. Riggs combines contemporary and historical fiction, mystery, children with paranormal abilities, and (extremely creepy) found photographs to create something a bit off the beaten track, book-wise.
