What I Wore: Date Night

Some of you may have read on Twitter earlier today that I have this gorgeous purple Chinese blouse I wanted to wear for date night, but wasn’t sure what to pair it with. I ended up pulling together something decent, so thought I’d do a quick What I Wore to show you what I ended up with. Granted, the pictures aren’t the best because they’re all with indoor lighting at night (the purple of the top is much more vibrant in real life), but you can get the idea. Plus the ones with me actually in them were taken in about 2 minutes before we went out (accessories pic taken later, after returning home).

For the curious, date night was out to eat at Maggiano’s Little Italy, which is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant due to yummy food, great service, and great ambiance. A good time was had. 🙂

The boy is good at making me make weird faces for photos.

Complete with coat and purse for going out.

Closest I could get to the shirt's actual color in this light. Plus, accessories.
WAY overexposed, but you can see the detail of the crossover front and collar this way. 🙂

  1. *jaw drop* GORGEOUS!!! I love your entire outfit. I am also hella (yes, hella) jealous of your shirt… I actually had one very similar, except blue and a diff. pattern from Jen… When I moved out, my dad tossed most of my “old clothes” gah! Your heels and jacket also need to get in my closet. 😉

    You look gorgeous, lady, seriously!

    1. *blushes* Aw, thanks so much! That’s a bummer about your shirt getting tossed! 🙁 You should scour Etsy’s vintage category, that’s where I found this gem. 🙂
