Today is not only our nation’s birthday (happy 4th!), but also the birthday of my little furkid. Happy 2nd birthday, Sienna! 🙂 I hope you enjoyed the bits of bacon last night, and the peanut butter goodies and new toy you get today.
My version of red, white, and blue. I’m not usually one to color coordinate with holidays, but I just recently got this dress in a swap and thought it was perfect for the occasion. Color AND weather appropriate, and a nice length as well. So this is what I’m wearing around today as we spoil our puppy, cook up some beer brats, and then cuddle with our puppy who is scared of the noise of fireworks. We may even be able to see some from our yard.
What is everyone else up to for the 4th?

Colors: Navy, White, Turquoise, Coral
Dress: Swapped. Originally had a black patent half belt sewn to the front, which I painstakingly and emphatically removed.
Shoes: by Colin Stuart, from Victoria’s Secret. Currently on sale in several colors, just fyi.
Necklace: I’ve had this forever.
Ring: Same with this.
Sunglasses: Probably Target, don’t recall.

We know exactly what day she was born, so why not celebrate it? That’s how I see it. 🙂 I missed out on the sparklers this year, but sounds like you had a good 4th! Thanks for stopping by.

Gorgeous dress! Festive without being too over the top 🙂 I love that necklace, too! It’s so cute that you celebrate your dog’s birthday. My cat isn’t a year old yet, but I’m sure I’ll do the same!
Thanks! “Festive without being too over the top” – EXACTLY what I was going for, haha. Glad I hit the mark. 🙂
