Come meet some of the fabulous bloggers who are medium sponsors here this month! This is a great group of ladies, and I’ve been glad to have them hanging out in my sidebar this month. I asked each of them some fun questions (and answered them myself at the bottom). Be sure to go say hi! And if you’d like to secure your own spot for next month, head on over to my sponsor page for info & purchasing.

Hi, there! I’m Melissa and I’m so happy to be sponsoring Dragonflight Dreams this September. I’m a librarian wannabe who loves YA literature, baking, cardigans, and my awesome husband Matt. You can find me over at my nearly-brand-new blog Go Team Brinn!, where I blog about newlywed life, apartment improvement, small-town adventures, and whatever else catches my fancy. Stop by and say hi!
Did you have any nicknames as a child? (or any now, for that matter)
My first grade teacher dubbed me “Melissa Motormouth” because I never, ever stopped talking, even when I was supposed to be listening. What can I say? I loved to socialize. I was a textbook extrovert then, and I’m a textbook extrovert now!
What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it (so far)?
Right now I’m reading a YA book called Mothership, which is about a school for pregnant teenagers in outer space. Yes, you read that right: pregnant space school. I’m only about 1/3 of the way in so I can’t say for sure whether it’s good enough to recommend. It’s definitely a lot of fun — but let’s just say I don’t think it’ll make any honor lists this year 😛
Last thing you ordered from a restaurant:
Espresso gelato — yum!
Name one thing you want to do this fall:
I’ll be really sad if I don’t make it out to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire this fall! My friends and I go every year. This time we plan to go in costume!

Hey there! My name is Alycia and I’m a wife, dog mom, bookworm, crafter, blogger, and sarcasm lover, though not in that order. My husband and I have two dogs Monty and Mabel who keep us entertained and under their full control because of their cute faces. I’m a sucker anything cable knit or inspired by the 80s.
Did you have any nicknames as a child? (or any now, for that matter)
My parents called me kiddo or kid so that’s stuck around into adulthood.
What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it (so far)?
I’m always reading something. I don’t feel right without a book on my nightstand. Currently, I’m reading Book 2 in The Strain trilogy, The Fall. It’s about vampires with a slight zombie twist, but it’s not a happy, sparkly, love story. It’s scary and gross and right up my alley.
Last thing you ordered from a restaurant:
A 1/2 pound Angus burger with sweet potato fries….and a Georgia Peach martini.
Name one thing you want to do this fall:
Go pumpkin picking!

Hey there, friends! My name is Alyx and I blog over in my little corner of the internet called “Every Day is a New Adventure.” I mostly just try to be funny when I talk about pretty boring stuff. Sometimes I get a little vain with an outfit post (those are almost never actually fashionable enough to be considered legit), sometimes I go a little homemaker by sharing the easiest recipes ever (seriously – so easy a caveman could do it… if cavemen had access to crockpots), and sometimes I vlog because I’m too lazy to type. Life is good over there, so stop by and say hello!

I sometimes got called chicken legs. Or legs. Or Jolly Green Giant, but none of those were self-made. In high school I got a little crazy and went by Ally.
What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it (so far)?
It’s an American novel translated into German… can’t remember the title, though. I know, I fail.
Last thing you ordered from a restaurant:
a big, juicy hamburger.
Name one thing you want to do this fall:
a 25 mile bike ride.

Hey! I’m Amber. My blog, my three bittles is about life. I blog about my babies, my husband, our crazy dog, our adventures in the military, life in Alaska, moving cross country, etc etc. I love to share (sometimes too much); I share recipes, DIYs, pictures, the works. I also do a weekly link-up of the Pinterest Project… you just find something on Pinterest, try it and link up with us! Once a month we vote on a winner and winner gets a large ad on all 3 of our blogs! You should check it out!

It’s always been “am”. My two bestestestest friends call me “ambs”
What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it (so far)?
Insurgent. It’s the 2nd in the trilogy. Divergent was the first. I recommend them.
Last thing you ordered from a restaurant:
An Asiago ranch chicken sandwich from Wendy’s. If you haven’t had them, try it. Man, they are good! I get the spicy version and add a slice of cheese on top. Yum yum!
Name one thing you want to do this fall:
Bury my bittles in the leaves and watch them laugh as they climb out.
My answers to this month’s questions, and July’s since I never got around to it:
Did you have any nicknames as a child? (or any now, for that matter)
Pumpkin, Manda Panda, Manda, Wahdie (by my younger sister before she could talk properly), Cobby, Cobbster, Corn on the Cobb (inevitable), AJ for a brief while (middle name is Jane)…
What are you currently reading? Would you recommend it (so far)?
I’m always in the middle of about 2 or 3 different books. Right now those are Napoleon’s Pyramids by William Dietrich, The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, and The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman. The first has been kind of slow going and the author likes to name drop to show he did his research, but it might improve. The other two I’m not far enough along in them yet to decide if I’d recommend them.
Last thing you ordered from a restaurant:
Crunchy tacos from Taco Bell for lunch yesterday.
Name one thing you want to do this fall:
Try my hand at making pickles, now that I have my grandma’s awesome recipe.
Recommend a book you love:
Kushiel’s Dart by Jacqueline Carey.
What do you think is the best comfort food for a crappy day?
Some quality garlic mashed potatoes. Or brownies fresh from the oven. Or chicken fingers and french fries.
Describe your favorite wall decoration in your house:
I have a copy of this poster hanging in my office. I originally got a copy of it back in college and it hung in my dorm room all 4 years. It got a bit beat up in the process, so I got a new copy. I just love it.
