This week’s closet challenge from Ma Nouvelle Mode was ‘oversized shirt,’ and I just so happened to have one that I’d been waiting to wear. I tried on about a dozen different belts before settling on this one. And… I dunno. This look turned out ok. I’m satisfied with it, just not thrilled. I think it’s the odd hemline of the shirt on top of the oversized fit.
On the other hand, I’m very thrilled with these rust colored skinnies. The color palette of this outfit in general is happy-making. I feel like autumn incarnate.
This week is going pretty well so far. I’m still sticking to my new workout routine (week 4 going strong!), and pushed myself a bit today. It was an arm strength day, which means I now have jelly arms. It’s not as inconvenient as jelly legs, which makes going up and down the stairs tricky. Also, I’m reading the 2nd Fifty Shades book (my turn on the wait list finally), and find myself just skimming the sex scenes in order to get to the other stuff. Just to clarify, this is an unusual occurrence when I’m reading any type of romance novel. I just don’t find the sex scenes in this series particularly interesting, whereas I do find the non-sexual dynamic between Christian and Ana interesting. *shrug*
