Right now, I am…
enjoying the two new music albums I got this week, the new Ben Folds Five and the new Mumford & Sons. It’s rare that I buy new music, but both of these were worthy causes.
waiting for the UPS truck to deliver the long-sleeved stock shirts I ordered for my shop. Yup, the shop will soon have some cold-weather-appropriate items.
looking forward to date night tonight. We missed it last week because of Ian’s schedule (though we ended up having a good date afternoon this past weekend with pizza, zoo, and crazy ice cream). We’re going to try out a new-to-me Mexican place. It’s called La Palapa and in my head that’s Lapa Lapa said in the same tone as ‘derpa derpa’. It’ll be good times. 🙂
happy to have gotten caught up on work and emails, and am now getting caught up on blog stuff (answering comments, sponsor stuff, etc.).
really liking the show The Mentalist lately. I’m glad Netflix has 4 whole seasons of it. Totally in my queue.
perversely glad that my arms are a bit sore today because it means my workout yesterday actually had some effect.
having a hard time believing it’s almost October. Seriously. Time flies even when you’re not having fun.
still behind on dishes, as always.
going to take Sienna on a walk now. 🙂
I still haven’t taken the plunge and listened to the new Mumford & Sons album. I know I should, but I’ve gotten to this horrible point with music where I’m terrified to listen to music because I’m afraid that I’m going to be way too critical.
Sigh.
I liked their first album a lot and for like three months I listened to it on repeat and then I started learning stuff about audio engineering from the boyfriend creature… and then I started finding the album really annoying.
Somehow I managed to inherit the boyfriend’s listening disorder so now I’m afraid of new things. Ugh.
I don’t know anything about audio engineering, so for me as long as it sounds pretty I’m happy. 🙂 And I think it’s a good album, so if you can conquer fear of the listening disorder try it out!
Mumford & Sons and Ben Folds Five are bomb! So good..! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
xoxo,
Nikki
