Just because it’s still 85 degrees here during the day doesn’t mean I can’t sartorially pretend it’s fall. Hence my sweater (though short-sleeved) and scarf (though non-warm-making). This is my first venture into fashion scarf wearing. Prior to this, the only times I’ve worn scarves have been in winter and they’ve been of the thick, fleecy variety. So I’m trying something new. These burgundy/bordeaux jeans are also quasi-new to me, but I think I’ve been firmly established into the colored denim club by now. But overall I really like how this turned out, and definitely plan on more colored denim and scarf wearing. 🙂
This week has been kind of slow going, work-wise. The upside to that is that I’ve been getting a lot of blog and shop stuff done. I did a photo shoot of a bunch of new printed shirts today, and am going to photo edit after finishing this post. So those should all hit the shop tomorrow. Also, it’s date night tonight and my turn to pick, which means one thing: steak! One of the perks of being the designer for a fine dining magazine means occasional restaurant gift cards as perks, and we have one to ALC Steaks that’s been burning a hole in my pocket. Nom. It is a bit fancier of a place that this outfit would work for, so I’ll probably switch out my top and shoes later. Small price to pay for delicious steak.
How’s everyone’s week going?
