Hello lovelies! I hope your respective weeks are going well. Mine definitely is. That cold front that came through over the weekend had me worried, but then today it was back in the 80’s. Whew! I’m not quite ready for bundling up yet. We’ve moved back to A/C running instead of heat.
This outfit was almost too warm to be wearing outside. I knew I wanted to wear my mustard skinnies today, and while looking for a shirt came upon this polka dot button up I got in a swap awhile back and had completely forgotten about. Kismet! I don’t know how well you can tell from the pictures, but the polka dots are in white AND mint, which is pretty much awesome. I also wore my new necklace from Studio Botanica for the first time, and I love it.
Tonight is, as usual on Wednesdays, date night. It’s Ian’s turn to pick and I have a feeling we’re going to be checking out a new-to-us taco place that a friend recommended. Then this weekend marks the start of the Austin City Limits music festival, which basically means I’m not going to be going anywhere downtown for the next two weekends. Been there, done that, over it. The heat and the crowds (not to mention the ticket price) aren’t worth the few bands I’d want to see.
What are you guys up to this week?

Love the mustard and the navy! You look lovely 🙂
Aw, thank you! 🙂 I was a little hesitant to do blue & yellow because where I grew up that meant Michigan Wolverines, but I think these particular shades avoid that.
love the pairing of yellow and blue! 🙂

Thank you! I actually felt more at ease in these yellow pants (who would’ve thought?!) than the bright red pair I have, haha.
I love mustard and navy together 🙂

I really like this! Mustard and navy look great together. Those look the like most comfortable shoes on the planet.
Thank you! And they ARE the most comfortable shoes on the planet. I will seriously be so sad when they eventually fall apart.
