So named because of the forest green of this dress and the chambray top over it, of course. Not because it’s particularly appropriate for frolicking in a forest (though I don’t think it’d fare too badly). This is what I wore on Monday. It was a day for errands, house chores, and a bit of work (not too much of this last, actually – it was a slow day). The comfy dress + knotted top combo has become one of my staples, I think. It’s so easy, yet still comfy and put-together looking. And yes. This necklace, again. Because I love it. And this puppy, again, because I love her, too. And for the record, I did not intentionally match my dress to my toenails; that’s just the color my toes are rocking at the moment.
Tonight is date night once again. It’s my turn to pick, and I’m thinking some version of Italian; haven’t quite decided yet. Also: officially less than a week until my birthday (the 23rd)! Woohoo! Ian’s taking a few days off next week (including my bday, naturally) and we’re going to hang out and go visit a vineyard and eat yummy things and maybe go hiking. It’ll be a regular ol’ birthday staycation. π
What are you guys up to this week?

Beautiful and comfy. The cognac is gorgeous next to the hunter green and chambray. I like how you combined these two fall trends.
Thank you! I really liked the color combo, too. π
I’m jealous you can still wear flip flops!

Haha! It’s pretty standard around these parts. It’s not unusual for us to have 70 degree days in December.
What a cute outfit! I love those colors together. And yay for birthdays! I want that purse….
Thank you!!! I inspected the purse to try to figure out the brand to tell you but it doesn’t have a marking or tag or logo anywhere!! Mystery purse.

Haha, true! I never thought I’d be in the dog-as-accessory club. At least she doesn’t fit in my purse! π
