Don’t be fooled by the bright sunshine. It was 50 degrees out when I took these this morning. Hence the sweater, scarf, and me hamming it up like I’m freezing (see below). ๐ It looks like Austin has finally clued in to the fact that it is fall/winter. Which means all of my sweaters and thermals and such are going to be joining the wardrobe rotation.
I am fully on the scarf-as-accessory bandwagon now. They are fun, and even a thin scarf like this helps keep my neck warm. My neck (particularly the back) is one of those places where if it gets cold, my whole body gets cold. The other place is my feet. You can’t see it in these pictures, but I am wearing a pair of brightly striped fuzzy socks inside of those boots. Fuzzy socks are my jam in the winter. If you are ever in a quandary over what to get me for Xmas/bday/gift swap, you can’t go wrong with some fun fuzzy socks.
Also: this outfit? Super comfortable. The sweater is soft, the tunic is soft, my socks are soft… see a trend here? ๐
In non-outfit news, work has picked back up. I’ve got a full line-up today, and then it’s date night tonight. Not sure what Ian has planned for that, so no clue if an outfit adjustment will be necessary. That’s about all I’ve got to report on this week.
What’s your go-to, keeping-warm winter clothing? Any other fuzzy sock aficionados out there?
