What I Wore: Black Lace & Mint

full

Hey all. A little late to the game today because I couldn’t be bothered to take outfit pictures yesterday. So this is what I wearing right now. Minty fresh, no? I love these printed jeans, and this cardi is seriously the softest thing. Cozy all around. Oh, and this is my new hairdo. Not the best pics because it was windy and kept blowing in my face, but it gives you an idea. I should’ve taken a before pic before heading out Monday, just so you could see the drastic change. Ah well. I like it. It seems to be cooperating with my meager hair-wrangling skills so far.

The Taste of Round Rock event last night was a good time! My friend Ashley and I hit almost every single booth (we skipped some due to un-appetizing options). Pros: cheaper than Taste of Austin, and they give you a tray to load up with samples instead of trying to juggle many little plates with only two hands. Cons: Not quite as much variety as Taste of Austin, plus it was outdoors, and yesterday was both super windy and got cold once the sun went down. But still! I got to hang out with a good friend, and came away with a belly full of tasty noms and a handful of coupons for further foodie adventures. An evening well spent. 🙂

Tonight is date night, and it’s my turn to pick! I haven’t thumbed through our dining passport yet to make my choice – so many possibilities! Otherwise, today is just work and some minor excursions into fabric dyeing.

How’s your week going?

  1. Amanda! Hi! I finally figured out how to get to your blog (before, when I would go to your profile, I couldn’t find your web page!).

You look so cute! I love events where you get to try yummy local food. It’s like a buffet, without the gross aspect 🙂 And a food passport?! That might be one of the best ideas I have ever heard of!

    1. Yay! I just unhooked my Blogger profile from my G+ profile, because it was being wonky with the no-reply settings. Added bonus is that the link to my website is more prominent on the Blogger version. So I’m findable again! Glad you made it here.

Thanks!! 🙂 It is like a buffet, you’re right! And the dining passport has turned out to be so much fun. We’ve used it 3 times already!
