As you might know by now, I run an Etsy shop that sells screen printed goods, primarily t-shirts. And I thought it’d be fun today to show a few different ways that a bold graphic tee from my shop could be worn. So, this is the shirt:
A simple scoopneck tee, in bright red, with my phoenix design in black. I made a duplicate of this one for myself, and have been wearing it different ways for about a year. Here are some that I have photographic proof of, all appropriate for the hot Texas weather we have 90% of the year:
Look #1
With a shorter patterned skirt, tucked and belted. Top with a blazer to dress it up that tad more and add a pop of a contrasting color.
(see full look here)
Look #2
Super casual, with regular blue jeans (skinny or bootcut, I’ve done both). Easy and comfortable. Nothing too revolutionary about this, just a good ol’ jeans & tee combo.
Look #3
With a maxi skirt or over a maxi dress for effortless boho-ish layers. Loose hair and interesting accessories add to the effect.
Look #4
With bold patterned jeans to match the bold design on the shirt. Add pops of an accent color in the accessories and shoes if possible.
For colder weather, add some boots over the skinny jeans, and a cardigan here or there, or layer over a longer-sleeved tee.
How would you wear this shirt?

Love this post!
I always appreciate seeing a piece of clothing worn many ways. Gives me ideas, so thank you.
You look fabulous in each outfit too!

Thank you! This was my first go at a post like this, glad to hear it was useful. 😀
nice shirt!
Thanks! 🙂
I LOVE the tucked in look with that skirt!
And those patterned jeans are awesome too.
That’s my favorite look, too! Polka dots, plus red & turquoise & black? Yes please. 😀
Oh my gosh, so gorgeous! I’d pair this shirt with my favorite flare legged pants, some cute red sneakers (if I had a pair!) and black accessories such as a corded bracelet. Kind of a 1970s Camp Counselor look! I love all of your outfits and that shirt is stunning. 🙂
Thank you, Angie! 😀
Love the shirt and that maxi skirt is freakin’ awesome… Why can people pull of skinny jeans so great, like you? So, I have a secret “loath” for them because I can’t pull them off. (wink) All four looks, beautimous!
Aw, thank you! I didn’t initially think I could pull off skinny jeans either, because the shape was just so different. But then I found a pair that fit perfectly, and I’ve been hooked ever since! Maybe you just need to find your perfect pair. 🙂
i love these posts! where its wearing 1 thing, many diff ways! love how you styled it!

Thank you! It’s my first crack at it, plan on doing some more. 🙂
How cute! I love the flexibility that comes with a good tee. I especially like your tee with the maxi skirt, that’s one that I wouldn’t have thought of but it definitely works.
Thank you! 😀
I love the tee with the cardi. Red and turquoise are one of my fave color combos.
That’s my favorite, too, and for the same reason – love red and turquoise together! 🙂
