There’s something quintessentially summer about a good maxi skirt. This particular skirt has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s from Honey & Lace, which has a bunch of cute options. And no I’m not being paid/compensated to say that, I just think their selection is great (and constantly updated!). I wore this outfit around on Monday, doing house and work-from-home stuff, and then out to the movies with some friends. I just love the print on this one. There’s so many colors in the floral that it’s easy to pair a top with it. And, of course, it’s extremely comfortable, as is this simple tank. That’s my #1 outfit rule, if you hadn’t noticed. 🙂
We’ve had a pretty regular high of 95 this week (and humid!) so anything more layered that this really isn’t an option. That’s not a complaint, just a realistic observation. I will take the Texas summers over a northern winter any day.
Today my plan is to do work stuff, get some printing done, sign up for the local library’s summer reading challenge, and then watch some girly movies. Yeah, Ian’s on late shift again this week (hopefully the last time he has to do this!), so I’m on my own in the evenings.
