If I could take three months off and do anything, with money not being a factor, I would travel. I would travel a LOT. I’d split it up and do 3 weeks in the British Isles (focusing on Ireland & Scotland), 3 weeks in the Mediterranean (Italy & Greece specifically), 3 weeks in Australia, and 3 weeks visiting my family here in the States. I would take my camera and my sketchpad, and just see as much as I could in that time. Famous sites and little-known villages alike. For the stretch with my family, it’d just be hanging out and spending time with them, less focus on sightseeing. No doubt I’d be exhausted when I got home regardless, but how AWESOME would that trip be? It’s totally got me daydreaming about unrealistic vacations and people with cool accents.
This dress is perfect for daydreaming. The lace gives it a romantic feel, and the color palette a touch of whimsy. This is one of the dresses I snagged in ModCloth’s recent 70% off sale, and I love it. It’s brighter than I normally go, so I did feel the need to tame it by pairing it with dark brown. But I still love it.
What would you do if you could take a three month sabbatical?

Lovely outfit. I would travel too. England, Ireland, Romania, then Peru, then probably India and Thailand. I want to go so many places
Ooh, interesting list. I have tons more on mine, too, but you can only fit so much into a theoretical 3-month stretch. 🙂
That dress is so pretty!! And even better than you got it on such a great sale! I agree that if you got 3 months to do anything–traveling would be a great thing to do with the time!
Thank you! Yeah, I didn’t have to think about this post too hard, I knew my answer was traveling as soon as I read the prompt. 🙂
That dress is gorgeous! You look great! I would definitely travel if I had three months off, too! There are still SO many places I want to go.
Aw, thank you! 🙂
I know what you mean, I have so many more places on my list.
I would spend my time travelling too, mainly France, Greece and Italy. Your dress and necklace look lovely 🙂
Good choices! And thank you. 🙂
I live in Scotland! I’ve been here for almost 6 yrs. Love it. There is so much to love about Scotland.
Travel is on everyone’s list! It is important and not easy to do.
Lucky! I’ve always wanted to go there, just haven’t made it yet. You’re right that travel is not easy to do. Stupid needing money and such.
Would you know I had my eye on that exact same dress? Looks amazing on you!
If I had three months off I think I’d do some Air BnB hopping and stay in a bunch of different places in different countries!
Ha! Small online shopping world. And thank you. 🙂
Air BnB would be a good idea. I think you can get so much more out of a trip if you do home-stay like lodging.
That dress is adorable! I remember seeing it on Modcloth!
Oh man, I would 100% travel too! Can you imagine having 3 full months to travel to wherever you want to! I have a really long dream travel list, maybe with 3 months I could knock a lot of it out 🙂
Such a pretty dress – I love all the colors!
I know!! I have a really long travel list, too. 3 months would be a good start, but really I’d probably need a year to visit everywhere, haha.
And thank you! 🙂
I want that dress!
Wouldn’t being able to travel ANYWHERE be amazing?
