Things of Note:
Apparently I was in a list-reading mood during this week’s link gathering. 🙂 Some good stuff up there, though, seriously.
I’m off in upstate New York as you’re reading this. I scheduled this post before I left, so I don’t have any idea what I’ll actually be up to this fine Tuesday. I hope it’s a fine Tuesday; it could be raining. Who knows?! See, this the kind of chaos bred by scheduling blog posts in advance.
Since I don’t know what I’m up to, how about telling me what you’re up to?
The article “If you don’t really want it, stop doing it” article is a great article. That is exactly how I felt when I quit working on my masters. It took me a while to get over feeling like a failure but I realized..that it was because I didn’t want to appear that way in the eyes of the people that I knew. But.. you really shouldn’t stay in something..pay for something.. and work at something you no longer want to do. I had to learn that lesson and it was a good and interesting lesson.
I really liked that article, too! It’s a lesson I’ve had to learn as well. In hindsight, it’s kind of ‘duh, common sense’ but at the time realizing I didn’t actually have to do this or that if I didn’t want to was revolutionizing.
Oh, that little lioness, ahhhh! <3
I know, how cute was she?!! Adorable.
Great collection of links. I’m really digging the literary costumes
Thanks! I was cracking up at some of the costumes, too.
Paddington Cat for the win. I really enjoyed that Halloween costume list. Also the Alice in Wonderland costume was quite good.
There were some really fun costumes in that round-up. 🙂
