Pinterest Challenge #2

Awhile back I joined in a Pinterest Challenge to try to actually DO some of the things I’d pinned. It ended up being easier and more fun than I’d anticipated, so I’ve decided to do it again, on my own with no link-up. I’ve picked 6 pins that I want to accomplish in the following 8* weeks:

Pinterest Challenge #2
Clockwise from top left : 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

That’s 2 outfits to copycat, 1 recipe, and 3 projects. A nice blend, if I do say so myself. I’m just going at this challenge on my own this time, but if you want to join in, feel free to let me know in the comments. I’ll be posting updates over the next few weeks, and a recap at the end of week 8.

Are you bad about using/doing your pins, too? Ever done a Pinterest challenge?

Also, you can find me on Pinterest here.

*Changed to 8 weeks instead of 6 because I lost project time with a hurt back, flu and in-law visit.

  1. Unluckily I am into similar category as that of yours; just tried few recipes from Pinterest they turned awesome. Want to work on some DIY projects too just waiting for summer season.

    1. Understandable. That’s why all of the ‘projects’ I picked are smaller and do-able indoors. No braving of cold weather necessary. 🙂

    1. I’m not super super crafty. Or rather, I am, but only if very specific areas. Hence a lot of my pins going untouched. But they usually include decent tutorials, so it’s worth a try, right? 🙂

  2. Okay, I was looking at the words “sheet metal” under the hair style and I was like, “So, put the flat iron on your hair and then… put the metal on your head?” Then I realized they were two separate things. Hahaha. I’m brilliant.

  3. I love this idea. A lot. I pin all of the things and do none of them (except cook. I have made a fair few of the recipes I’ve pinned). Great idea – I might have to try a (non-recipe) Pinterest challenge!

Good luck – can’t wait to read your updates! 🙂

  4. This is such an awesome idea. I’m the opposite, in that I get too ambitious about starting all the projects I pin, but I struggle to actually finish them.
