Things of Note:
This week is already going much better than last. I had a dentist appointment yesterday, but unlike the vet and lady doctor last week, there was no surprising bad news. It was simply business as normal. And it’s sunshine all across the board in this week’s weather forecast, which always makes me happy. Plus I had a good weekend: socializing with friends at brunch and book club, and hanging out with Ian and the puppy the rest of the time. This coming week I’ve got some favorite shows coming back with new seasons, coffee with a friend, a care package to send out, and a baby shower BBQ. And work is going well. Good things all around! Here’s hoping I didn’t just jinx it.
How did your weekend go? Up to anything interesting this week?

Interesting article about why our age group doesn’t buy as much! Now that I’m thinking about it, I haven’t bought a DVD in probably 5 years, I rarely buy new music, how often we go to the movies has decreased, and we lease our car. We do own the house, but we’ve been chatting lately about how doing so really is a huge trade-off and we aren’t sure we’d rush into it again. I obviously like being able to do whatever project I want, but it’s kind of a hassle staying on top of the maintenance in general. I’m less into it than I thought I would be.
I’m the same way, I haven’t bought a movie or physical music album in AGES. No need with things like Netflix and Grooveshark. And oh my goodness you are right about house maintenance. I feel like it’s a never-ending to-do list.
I saw that Corgi stylesheet thing yesterday, and I thought to myself, “CSS is NOT allowed to be this cute!”
Ha! But corgis are good any time.
