watching Ian trim the tree over the driveway. He has the week off and is apparently in yard work mode. He already tackled hunting out new fire ant mounds.
fighting off what feels like the beginning of a cold. Yes, right after a craft show. Again. This is becoming a pattern I don’t like. Do show, don’t sell much, get sick. Not a fan. I’ve got one more show this year, let’s hope it breaks the pattern.
glad that we got our Christmas plans finalized this weekend. We’ll be going out to Arizona to hang with Ian’s side of the family. Flights are booked, puppy boarding and day camp reserved. Good to go. Bonus? I get to see the Grand Canyon for the first time, as we’ll be taking a mini side trip to go see it. Woohoo!
playing my way through the Myst game series. I got the 10th Anniversary pack for my birthday (thanks, sis!). I played through Riven this past weekend, and now am in uncharted territory as I never played any of the games past that back in the day.
still surprised to have taken my old Macbook out of storage/the closet to find that the battery had exploded. Apparently this is not an uncommon thing once laptop batteries hit ~7 years old? It looks like my computer got into a car crash and internal air bags exploded.
plotting out my Christmas gifts for everyone on my list. Some people are tricky.
hoping I don’t have to cancel ladies coffee date tomorrow because of this stupid almost-cold becoming a full cold.
needing to put away all of the stuff from the craft show that made it out of my car but not farther than the living room. But really not feeling up to that undertaking right now.
going to go investigate our tea cabinet and see if we have any of the throat tamer or antioxidant stuff left from last time I was sick.
