September Group Giveaway

Yup, it’s that time again: group giveaway day! Some of my wonderful sponsors have offered up cool swag this month. Check it out below!

Melissa from Go Team Brinn! says: My husband and I are huge nerds — and we got that way through a deep love of books. Since I don’t have a shop, I figured I’d offer up something that would appeal to our fellow bibliophiles: a $15 gift card to Barnes and Noble!

Amber from My Three Bittles says: I’ll be giving away 2 months medium ad space starting in October. With a medium ad, you would be a part of the sponsor shoutout posts, you get the opportunity to be a part of the group giveaway, you get twitter & facebook mentions.

  1. I actually really loved your post “Let’s Not Sugarcoat It”. I loved your honesty. I lost my stepdad to suicide 10 years ago, this year, and I am pretty comfortable talking about it now as well, but you are right, it does make others uncomfortable. A lot of people who only know me over the internet, are usually shocked to know that I use the F bomb as much as I do also. We have a lot in common and I could go on and on.

I would also like to add that I love the Phoenix you have on several shirts in the shop Our middle daughter’s name is Phoenix and it would look awesome as a print on her wall.

    1. Thank you! (though I’m sorry a parent’s suicide is something we have in common).

I am actually going to be doing paper prints of the phoenix design – should be out later this month! It’s just an odd size so I’m still trying to figure out what ‘standard’ size would work best that people could frame easily.

  2. Lets not sugarcoat it! I think its so neat and refreshing how honest you are in that post. I am sorry to hear about your dad–makes me want to have a better relationship with my dad. Ive gone through severe depression and ever since becoming ventilator dependent, some family members still feel uncomfortable..it’s like im the elephant in the room, so i can relate on how some people get uncomfortable with tough subjects…your revelations made me laugh— i say ‘shit” alll day long lol..other f bombs & B’s do come up in my head often though lol..im on google chat too! :
