I am having a printing marathon over here as I try to get ready for my craft show/party this weekend. (If you’re in the Austin area and want an invite, just let me know!) My office is kind of a disaster area right now. Prints laid flat on every available surface to dry, paper scraps littering my worktable from cutting prints down to size, labels and bags waiting to be packed, screens drying in the bathroom. It’s pretty much like my shop has exploded. And I kind of love it, messy though it may be. I’m both nervous and excited about this weekend. It’s the first offline experience for my shop. I don’t know what to expect, and I’m trying not to develop unrealistic expectations. Really I’m just trying to be as prepared as possible. My mom had some good advice about setting up my display table, from her bygone days of craft shows. I’m pretty sure I have enough inventory. I’ve got the payment methods set up, and price tags written out. So… we’ll see. *fingers crossed*
And since I didn’t want you non-Austinites to miss out, I’m offering free U.S. shipping in my shop now through the 15th, with coupon code FREESHIP. Not all of the prints I’ve been cranking out have made their way into the shop yet, but there’s still a damn good selection, if I do say so myself. 🙂
Have you ever done a craft fair/show/party? Any advice?
