December Sponsor Love

Come meet two of the lovely bloggers who are medium sponsors here this month! I’ve been glad to have them hanging out in my sidebar. 🙂 I asked them some fun questions (and answered them myself at the bottom). Be sure to go say hi! And if you’d like to secure your own spot for next month, head on over to my sponsor page for info & purchasing.

Hey, I’m Madison! Motivated Madison is where I blog about life and all the dorky, silly things I come up with. Sometimes this means I will be a bit overly ambitious by starting a project and failing miserably at them. Other times I’ll share some funny pictures I’ve come across and discuss them. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, a bit of a gamer, a fantasy novel nut, and an anime lover.

What are you currently reading?
Although I’m a big book worm, I’m actually not reading anything right now. I guess I haven’t been in a big reading mood lately. The last fiction book I read was Legend by Marie Lu. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you liked Hunger Games and want to try something new.
What’s one thing on your wishlist for Christmas?
My computer was 6 years old and so I was really hoping for a new computer…and I got it as an early Christmas gift!! My next item on my wishlist is a digital camera.
Name one thing you are addicted to:
My current addiction is Lofthouse Cookies. You know, the sugar cookies with the colored frosting and sprinkles that you can buy at the local grocery store in the bakery department. They are omgsodelicious. We don’t have any right now but I have a feeling that will change when I get off work today and have to stop at the store… And they probably won’t even last 24 hours.
Do you make New Years resolutions? If so, what’s your resolution for 2013?
New Years Resolutions and me just don’t work. I make one, and inevitably fail at it shortly after. I do have some goals I’d like to accomplish in 2013, but I don’t plan on calling them a New Years Resolution because I think that’ll just curse them. haha.

The Forge

I’m sophie, mom to Logan, wife to J, German born and raised, pittsburgher, graphic designer, vintage shop owner, fashion lover. A traveler raised with roots and wings. I make mistakes and I don’t take myself too seriously, I am seriously in love with my two guys though. I love chai tea, any tea really. I shop, a lot. I paint, craft, draw, build, sew and make things all the time. I built the house we live in. I don’t tan, I have a love hate relationship with my hair. I like my curves but not that I’m out of shape. I wish I were a runner. I’m impatient, impulsive and emotional (thanks mommyhood). I’m not a great writer, but I try. I’m laid back, relaxed and pretty funny if you give me a chance.

Sophie did not have time to answer the questions, as she’s traveling with family in Germany right now, but I still wanted to include her, so the above was copied from her about page.

My answers to this month’s questions:

What are you currently reading?
Working my way through several books, including Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (loving it), Gone Girl (bit of a struggle to get through), and just got Code Name Verity from the library.
What’s one thing on your wishlist for Christmas?
A Wacom tablet.
Name one thing you are addicted to:
Southern brewed sweet tea.
Do you make New Years resolutions? If so, what’s your resolution for 2013?
Not really. I do my goals list on my birthday for things I want to accomplish the next year, which is sort of the same thing I guess?
