I’m a bit behind this week, but I managed to snap these today before a storm rolled in. That’s right, it’s real-time personal style reporting, folks! Haha. But yeah, wearing this right now. Super comfy, as I like all my outfits to be. If there ever comes a day where I decide, for whatever reason, that I no longer like jersey knits, someone knock the crazy out of me. They are my jam. This cardi last seen here, but it’s this dress’ first blog appearance. I love the stripes against the solid, and the interesting lines of it. Plus, like I said – super comfy.
Though if I look a bit annoyed, it’s because my blasted tripod broke. The bit that screws into your camera to hold it in place? Yeah, not so much with the holding when you pivot the camera so it’s vertical. Sign. I literally just got a new one last month, too. Looks like I’ll be investing in a more quality tripod rather than a cheapy from Ebay.
So what else is new around here? Lots of work stuff popping up this week. Which is good, it’s just lots of random smaller stuff that I hadn’t really scheduled for, you know? And we’re hosting a crepe brunch for a small group of friends this Saturday, which means I should probably maybe start cleaning house so I’m not doing a mad dash Saturday early morning. I’m also trying to figure out what to get Ian for his birthday, since a) he usually just buys something for himself immediately after deciding he needs/wants it and b) is not supplying any ideas thus far. I still have 2+ weeks, but that’s cutting it close if I have to order something & have it shipped. The man is downright hard to gift shop for.

Amanda I love your blog. You are so stinking cute! Love this outfit so much! I need you to come style me!
Aw, thank you!! 😀
I really liked that dress–and that’s saying something, because I usually don’t like maxi dresses. And men are so hard to buy gifts for!! Everything I suggest to Angel–he just either has already bought it for himself over the course of every day life or he says he doesn’t want it as a present.
They are so hard to buy for! I think I’m just going to have to do a day of experiences/food rather than a physical gift I can wrap, because I can’t think of anything.
And thanks!! It took me a bit to get into maxi dresses, but now I’m addicted. They’re just so easy.
Love that dress! I have yet to jump on the maxi dress train, but I did pin a few recently that I like and hope to get soon!
Thanks! And jump on the train, they are great. 🙂 I think most are probably flexible enough to wear while pregnant and not., so that’s a bonus.
I love the grey chevron dress on you, Amanda. It looks really flattering and the colour suits you 🙂 Oh, and I will have to steal your ring now, so keep it safe 😉
Aw, thank you so much, Tara! 🙂 Also, I think my ring is safe as long as you’re in the opposite hemisphere, haha. But I’ll keep a lookout.
