My name is Lexy and I love to blog about all things geeky, pretty, and yummy. I am an avid reader and doodler. I also love to cook, craft, and go on mini weekend adventures. My blog is an extension of my goofiness with a few tutorials, diys, and recipes mixed in between!

What motivated you to start your blog? I started my blog as a way to gain more experience with graphic and web design, but it quickly turned into a fun place to make friends, and document my life. I’m such a homebody that it really gets me out of my shell as well!

How did you end up in Atlanta? I grew up in South Florida and went to college at Emory University in Atlanta, and I never left!

What’s a hobby or talent that you have that most people would be surprised to learn about? Hm…I can solve a Rubik’s cube in about a minute! I also have a freaky memory when it comes to really unimportant things, like finding lost keys and where a book is on a shelf.

If you could go to any museum or historical monument in the world, where would you go? I could spend all day at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, in fact, I tried to do that once but my family wanted me to leave. I absolutely love it there!

Name 5 things in your immediate vicinity. Be specific: My Rubik’s cube collection, a mason jar of .22 caliber bullets, two lego people (one gladiator and a Samurai warrior), a sleeping kitten, and one large graph paper notebook!

What is your favorite flower? Sunflower, without question.

Current book you are reading: I’m actually in the process of re-reading all of the Hunger Games books, and right now I’m in the middle of the second one. However, I am pretty much always reading at least 2-3 books at a time. I’m also reading a biography of Harper Lee, and The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.

Describe your favorite dress: It is a lovely garden party dress in navy blue with flowers all over it. The best part? Pockets!
