December makes me think of one thing: Christmas, Christmas, and more Christmas. (We’re not much for the whole ice and snow thing here in Austin). So this month’s Etsy treasuries are all about that. The first is about Christmas colors, red and green. The second is a neutral, natural take on Christmas. Take a look:
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas (and being stuck inside because its too cold to go anywhere), this time of year is all about spending time with family. Sadly, some people do not have loving or safe home environments. The idea of spending a happy holiday with family, or at least not spending it in the hospital from injury, is a foreign idea to some. So this month, the beneficiary from my shop sales is going to be Safe Horizon.

I had quite enough grey slushy 20-degree days growing up in Ohio. The past few days, of course, it’s been a bit colder. It’s all of 40 degrees out when I typed this out. But weather forecast shows it’s back up to 70 this weekend. At […]
Well, it almost didn’t happen, but I managed to squeeze in a What I Wore post for December. Yesterday was amazingly nice out – 71 degrees, sunny with blue skies. This is why I live in Texas. 🙂 It called for a summery outfit, and I went with a nice breezy dress and sandals. And I finally got a chance to wear my new peacock scarf that’s been sitting on the shelf for a few weeks. Granted, it only stayed in my hair for about 20 minutes because my hair just can’t hold on to things like this, but it’s […]
